Just recently, a 4-year old boy believed to have been abducted, found dead in Rizal province with internal organs missing.

National Police chief Director General Alan Purisima ordered chief of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) Superintendent Francisco Uyami to form the investigative team.

Purisima remarked that the series of abductions in the metro should serve as warnings to parents, to be more vigilant and mindful of the whereabouts of their children. Said Purisima:
We need these things to be reported to the police so that we can investigate and subsequently arrest the suspects
The public was encouraged  by Purisima to report any similar incidents to the police. Should a local police force do not act accordingly, things can be sent directly to the General via mobile number 09178475757.
