Slovakian Cyclist Peter Sagan Apologizes After Pinching Podium Girl's Backside -- Second to finish the race in the Tour of Flanders in Belgium on Sunday, Slovakian cyclist Peter Sagan sparked criticism after he decided to pinch a podium girl's backside, during the race awarding time. Sagan might have taken the thing as a minute joke but it backfired on him in an exponential way.

Sagan got volumes of criticism from the cycling community. Said his fellow rider Michael Hutchinson in a Tweet:
Peter Sagan realized his wrong doing after the photo circulated the Internet. Later, he apologized.

On the other side of the coin, the photo posted is rather sending the wrong message. It could mean that, that particular woman planting a kiss on the cycling race winner is the grand perk that a champ could get, aside from a trophy or something of the same worth.

Sagan might have taken the ride and joined the fun in celebrating a win on the podium, hence he decided to take the pinch. But then again, the Slovakian could be holding a different reason in his mind.
