55k Avon Popcorn Makers Recalled Due to Overheating Risk

At least 20 reports have been received by Avon regarding its popcorn makers exhibiting overheating and burns, according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission.
The defective popcorn maker units were made in Taiwan, bearing the item number 474-105, reports said. Due to several occurrences of burns and similar incidents, the Consumer Product Safety Commission ordered a voluntary recall for the microwave popcorn makers.

The popcorn making machines in subject are those sold in the US during October and February for $13 more or less.

Should you happen to have one of the Avon popcorn maker units, do your best to get a copy of the up to date instructions to avoid any further accidents in the future.
