Bangladesh and Myanmar Forced to Evacuate Due to Cyclone Mahasen

Cyclone Mahasen hits Bangladesh and Myanmar -- Low areas of Bangladesh and Myanmar were swept by cyclones on Wednesday, forcing hundreds of thousands of people to evacuate. Residents were advised to secure safe places as "Cyclone Mahasen" is expected to arrive on Thursday.
Bangladesh established its own sets of cyclone shelters while Myanmar plans to move about 160k people to its northwestern coast. Aung Min, minister of the Myanmar president's office said:
The military will move them to higher ground
Some people don't want to leave. We don't want to see them die so we will move them under the law of protection from natural disasters
Although Cyclone Mahasen is seen to have decreased its strength as it make its way to the Bay of Bengal, as per statements from the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), critical conditions may still emerge.

Several camps have already been set up for the people in northeast India, Bangladesh and Myanmar. Medical teams in the affected countries were also established.
