Boko Haram Militants in Disarray Says Nigerian Military

Last week, there were about 2,000 soldiers deployed to north-eastern Nigeria while an additional 1,000 is scheduled to be sent to Adamawa state to intensify the Nigerian army's move to respond to the state of emergency declared areas.
The Nigerian army believes that due to its series of operations, the Boko Haram militant group is in "disarray" and that their members are leaving the country in considerable number.

Because of this tension in Nigeria, some 2,000 people already fled, as some of them even went to Cameroon.

The past weekend, a 24-hour curfew was implemented in some areas of the city of Maiduguri as part of Nigeria military's offensive. As of the present, three states are labeled as under the state of emergency, namely Borno, Adamawa, and Yobe.
