California Wildfires: Spring Fires Sent Dos Vientos Neighborhood to Evacuation

California Wildfires: Spring Fires Sent Dos Vientos Neighborhood to Evacuation -- Spring fires along the 101 freeway of Dos Vientos neighborhood of Newbury Park sent residents to mandatory evacuation as the blaze continue to grow due to strong winds. The fires are making critical sweeps over the wilds, prompting the firefighters to make a headway in controlling the fire.
Ventura County Fire Department spokesman Bill Nash said:
We advise anybody in the area to be prepared. Wildfires are very unpredictable -- we don't know what direction it's going to go
We really want people to be prepared. It's better to do it now before a sheriff's deputy is knocking on your door.
There is also a threat to the residents of Cal State Channel Islands near Camarillo. At the moment, several fire engines are already stationed in the area for any possible reinforcement.

Meanwhile, the National Weather Service sent warning for Los Angeles, Ventura and Santa Barbara counties that an "extreme" fire incident is very likely to occur on Thursday and Friday.
