New Jersey Woman Faked Cancer Ailment to Gather Donations

A  New Jersey Woman pleaded guilty of scamming her way to solicit money and even meals from own relatives and friends by claiming false cancer treatment.
Lori Stilley, 41 is charged with theft by deception, according to Burlington County prosecutors.

There are calls that Stilley should receive 4 years probation after her sentence on July 26. Also, she is required to pay restitution amounting $15,000 to $20,000, plus 100 hours of community service and psychiatric.

Sources revealed that in the year 2011, Stilley even used social media platforms or tools to gain support and thereby collect money and goods donations because of her alleged diagnosis.

At the moment, Lori can remain free for $25k bail until the pronouncement of her sentence.
