Bombing in Kabul Afghanistan killed 3, injured 30

Meanwhile in Kabul, Afghanistan, a huge bomb exploded right in the capital which resulted to the loss of lives of 3 people. The incident coincided with the day when the international military coalition hands over the responsibility for fighting the Taliban insurgency to a local army and police force they have trained.

According to Kabul deputy police chief Mohammad Daoud Amin, the explosion took place at the Pul-e-Surkh area. A miles away from the site of the turnover ceremony.

Reports reveal that the bombing was intended to target the convoy of a prominent ethnic Hazara lawmaker Mohammed Mohaqiq.

Criminal investigation division of Kabul says, at least 3 people were killed by the bombing while 30 were found wounded.
