British and Irish Lions survive Reds strong offense

It was a remarkable 22-12 victory for The British and Irish Lions, over Queensland Reds, during a Saturday brawl.

While Reds was able to defeat its previous opponents, the Lions stood its ground, with the help of flyhalf Owen Farrell.

At the start, Reds deployed 9 Wallabies to reign upon the visitors but later on, Reds took control of the game.

Lions coach Warren Gatland is quoted saying:
They came at us at 100 miles an hour in that first 20 minutes and the boys soaked up the pressure
From that point of view it was exactly what we wanted, realisation for the players about what it means to Australian players.
And for us to soak up the pressure, and guts it out and come up with a win, I'm very proud of that performance.
Farrell being the key in the Lions triumph, finished with a 6/6 kicking record.
