Class suspension on June 14, 2013

Inclement weather condition, side by side with heavy rains and floods pushed some schools, mostly in Manila area to suspend classes. On Thursday, several schools announced suspension of their afternoon classes. For the weather watchers out there, tune in as local government units (LGUs) release related announcement on suspension of classes on June 14 (Friday), 2013.

School / schools with classes suspended: So far, UST (University of Sto. Tomas) announced yesterday, suspension of its classes on Friday, June 14 as per Tweet below:
Official statement from UST's Secretary General instructs, classes in high school, college and post-graduate levels, including office works shall remain suspended in UST on Friday, June 14.

On the same light, take note that the country's Department of Education (DepEd) does not issue classes suspension;The LGUs and affected schools do. However, DepEd urges everyone to check Executive Order No. 66 (http://www.gov.ph/2012/01/09/executive-order-no-66-s-2012/) "...for complete rules on cancellation or suspension of classes".
