How to pay your PAG-IBIG contributions and loans via mobile phone

Globe Telephone network stepped up by allowing PAG-IBIG members to pay for their loans and contributions via mobile phones. Users with either prepaid and postpaid subscribers and can now rest from the torture of falling in line just to complete a payment transaction.
Specially now that the "Kasambay Law" or law governing the rights of the domestic workers in the Philippines is out, payment will be easy and automated.

This move was done to make PAAG-IBIG contributions payment accessible to those in the low income individuals and or families.

Before you can pay PAG-IBIG contributions or loans, GCash must be activated on your phone first. Here goes the steps to do that:
  1. Dial *143# on your mobile phone.
  2. Press "Call."
  3. Select "GCash."
  4. Choose "Register."
  5. Select a 4-digit MPIN.
  6. Enter personal details as required.
That GCash wallet shall be funded of course. After that, you can now execute your payment transaction via GCash. Here's how to do it:
  1.     Dial *143# on your handset.
  2.     Press "Call."
  3.     Select “GCash.”
  4.     Choose “Pay Bills.” For housing loans, include the 20-digit payment reference number.
  5.     Select "Pag-ibig" from the biller list and the bill you want to pay.
  6.     Key in the amount of money to be sent and your 4-digit MPIN.
  7.     Enter information as required.
As introductory feature, the service will be available free of charge until Dec. 18, 2013. A fee of P5 will be collected staring Dec. 19.
