Billy Crawford interview on The Buzz - needs to find self

A lot of people - the netizens the most, showed utmost connection to the recent break up of couples Billy Crawford and Nikki Gil. Online news and other media outlets as well, joined in the buzz. On Sunday, Billy appeared on "The Buzz" with Boy Abunda for one emotional revelations and admission of what has transpired from almost a five-year relationship.
In the interview, Billy admitted to Boy Abunda that she still loves Nikki and that, the latter has no fault with what has been going on right now. In Billy's words:
She has no fault. I’m not a perfect guy. I’m not a perfect person. I’ve done some things in my life that I regretted. And she supported it. She understood. She was there. But I tend to go home by myself.
It's a very generous and obviously, full of respect admission on Philippine TV that Billy even praised Nikki for being there for him during ups and downs. Also, Billy said, sometimes he goes out of the way. At least, that's what we can deduce from him saying, he tends to "go home by himself."

Billy continues:
It’s so simple to go around with friends and to enjoy and forget about the problems, nakalimutan ko ako eh. I’m the one who’s completely lost and I’m searching. I asked her this, ‘Give me the chance to find myself.’ It’s very difficult.
I love her and I still do. I don’t want to continue to hurt her because I became distant. And I don’t want to continue to hurt her because if I continued with this relationship, in the long run, hindi na kami magkakatugma. We don’t see eye to eye on things.
This has been giving a lot of open interpretations: Billy forgot who he is and while he is hanging there making other people happy, he kind of made himself so distant. From whatever it is from, it is only him who knows the real score. We even saw some jokes in a Facebook post that maybe Billy is gay. But of course, that's just a concoction in the playful minds of the people around the Internet. We still got to reserve things on Billy's behalf to admit what really bothers him that he had to end his relationship with Nikki.

In Billy's exact words, this is how it goes:
I forgot who I am. I don’t know what I’m doing. Because all I know what to do is to work. It’s been almost 26 years I’ve been in this industry. I’ve been everywhere. And this is the first time I ever felt this way.
In some sort of a closing statement, Billy Crawford said he is sorry to a lot people who felt sad with his breakup with Nikki. Billy said he needs to go back to the US, to be with his family and find himself. He was tearful and sad.
