CDO bombing kills 6, injures 46 [Updates]

Updates 2:  Death toll raised to 8

Updates 1: In contrast to previous reports, the explosion was due to an improvised explosive device. Death toll rose to 6, from 3 as per early findings. Early statements also named the place of the explosion as "Candy's Cafe", while latest news say it's "Kyla’s Restobar".

Fresh off the news pan - there has been a reported Cagayan de Oro explosion, which killed 3 persons on late Friday evening.
As far as CDO Philippine National Police (PNP) statements are concerned, the explosion took place in a cafe' (Candy's Cafe at the Rosario Arcade) outside the Limketkai mall at around 11PM.

At least three (3) fatalities were immediately determined while the number of injured are still being investigated on.

Last year in November, there was also a bombing incident in Cagayan de Oro, wherein eight (8) people were injured after a grenade was made as a booby-trap at the door of a certain commercial establishment.
