PNR train accident: Woman killed after being hit

A woman identified through her ID as Florenda Supnet was hit by a Divisoria-bound PNR train on Tuesday morning. She was pronounced dead on arrival at the University of Santo Tomas Hospital.
The woman did not heed the horn sounded by the oncoming train, thus her untimely demise.

Report from GMA News Tv’s “Quick Response Team” revealed that the train driver was immediately suspended after the incident.

PNR spokesperson Paul de Quiros warned the motorists:
Paalala sa mga motorista na tumatawid sa track, hangga’t maaari lang i-assume na may dadaan [na tren]. Kailangan talaga stop, look, listen
There have been quite a huge number accidents involving the country's rolling stocks. In fact this year, PNR already recorded 47 accidents during the months of January, Feb., Mar., and May.
