Braves vs. Mets: Tim Hudson suffers leg injury [Graphic video]

In a full of intensity game between Braves and Mets on Wednesday, Braves pitcher Tim Hudson suffered a gruesome leg injury when Eric Young Jr. came in to land on the first base, which Hudson was covering.
Young Jr. is there trying to beat the toss from Freddie Freeman but stepped onto Hudson's right ankle instead. Take a look at the gif file below:
Initial findings say Hudson suffered a fractured joint and will undergo surgery in Atlanta when ready.

Joung Jr. was all regretful for the incident:
I’m a little bummed right now. . . . You never want to injure anybody
I knew I didn’t get any of the base. I know I got all of his foot.
I pretty much knew it was probably broke right as I did it ..and that’s why I sprinted right back to him and try to console him as much as I could and apologize.
I obviously wasn’t trying to hurt him on the play. He just told me to keep my head up and keep playing the game the hard way, the right way. He said there was nothing I can do about it. That made me feel somewhat better, but still bummed that he’s going to be out for a while
Young wished Hudson a speedy recovery. (Photos:
