Honda launches CR-Z Sport Hybrid Coupe

Perhaps out of the enormous reminiscence of the past sports Honda models by Honda cars enthusiasts that Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI) decided to release another addition to its line of hybrid units.
 So just recently, HCPI finally launched the CR-Z Sport Hybrid Coupe.

The letters CR-Z stand for "Compact Renaissance Zero". It represents Honda's thrust to go back to level zero (0) in planning for new and affordable Honda cars.
HCPI’s president and general manager Tatsuya Natsume said:
It is my privilege to be able to bring this product to the Philippines. With this product we aim to provide an unparalleled driving experience and rest assured we heard what Filipinos want from Honda. The New Honda has arrived
Honda CR-Z boasts a trait that is amenable to users whose priorities are centered on performance efficiency. The CR-Z is built as both sporty and eco-friendly.

Brief specs of CR-Z Sport Hybrid Coupe:
- 1.5-liter i-VTEC engine
- 3-Mode Drive System and Plus Sport System

What is 3-Mode Drive System?
3-Mode Drive System is a system that lets the driver choose whether the hybrid unit will used for performance or efficiency. With the push of just one button, the driver can smoothly choose the mode to 1) SPORT 2) NORMAL or 3) ECON.
Honda CR-Z Power output
This unit can pull off some "134.14 hp at 6600 rpm and maximum torque of 19.4 kg-m for the six-speed manual transmission". And:
133.15 hp at 6600 rpm and maximum torque of 17.4 kg-m for the Continuously Variable transmission (CVT 7-speed mode with paddle shifters). Both transmissions offer enhanced driving enjoyment and convenience.
