US Author Elmore Leonard dead at 87

U.S. best selling author, "crime novelist" Elmore Leonard passed away on Tuesday following a stroke, he had last month (July 29). In the author's official website it says:
Elmore passed away this morning at 7:15 a.m. at home surrounded by his loving family
Elmore Leonard got more than 45 books in his writing credential. Some of his best selling works are "Get Shorty", "Out of Sight" and "3:10 to Yuma." A lot of Leonard's novels were translated into movies.
Leonard is a winner of an honorary National Book Award in 2012. Upon learning he is going to win such an award, he said:
I probably won’t quit until I just quit everything — quit my life — because it’s all I know how to do ..And it’s fun. I do have fun writing, and a long time ago, I told myself, ‘You got to have fun at this, or it’ll drive you nuts.
He died on Tuesday morning at his home in Bloomfield Township, Detroit.
