Obviously, we were not able to witness the fights live online but based on the replays we watched, there were a lot of controversial things that took place - one of them is the quite delayed calls of the referees during many sudden turn of the tides in the middle of the fights. Some fighters even laid down out and cold but still continued to receive punishments from vicious punches and similar strikes.

To highlight, UFC 166 medical suspension got Junior Dos Santos suspended indefinitely, plus he needs a clearance from an ear, nose and throat doctor for a potential nasal fracture. Velasquez is suspended until April 18 next year for a possible broken jaw.
