Bronx Metro-North Train Derailed, multiple injuries reported

Meanwhile in Bronx, along Hudson River, a Metro-North railroad train derailed, with five (5) out of its seven (7) cars off the track on Sunday, around 7 AM, Metropolitan Transportation Authority said.
The train was identified as coming from Poughkeepsie, N.Y., according to Metro-North’s Hudson Line, spokesman, Aaron Donovan.

Multiple injuries were also reported by the New York Fire Department, although its extent is yet to be known.
However, Mr. Donovan added, the Bronx Metro-North Train may not be carrying many passengers but there could be possible fatalities.

The cause of the train's derailment is still unknown as of press time.
