If you buy a hammer inside the malls in Metro Manila

Buying a hammer or other hardware equipment and items inside the commercial malls in Metro Manila may change the way you claim them as before.
Hammer ban in SM Malls
The Philippine National Police (PNP) suggested, buyers of such heavy equipments can claim their items once they leave the commercial building.

The malls might just implement the said suggestion.

The concern on hard and heavy materials being sold in the malls was triggered by the recent heist pulled off by robbers, identified as "Martilyo Gang" (Hammer Gang) in SM North Edsa.

The suspects used crowbars and hammers in breaking the glasses housing the jewelries in the said SM branch.

In a briefing where Interior and Local Government Secretary Mar Roxas was present, he said:
Dito sa malls na nagbebenta ng mga martilyo o crowbar o iba pang mabibigat na kasangkapan ay kapag nakapagbenta sila, yung delivery ay nasa labas ng mall. Hindi na sa loob ng mall na magagamit na pambasag o pagsira ng mga eskaparate o iba pang windows ng mga tindahan sa loob ng mall
Part of the suggestions of Roxas is giving the guards on duty, a break after every two hours.

Do you think the above-mentioned suggestions would work?
For sure there are other hard and heavy materials found inside the metro's malls. Even a glass pitcher can be used to smash any glass boxes of jewelries in there.
