Iran suffers HIV cases increase by 80 percent

Topics of discourse like HIV and AIDS were once taboo in the Islamic Republic, but due to a recent finding where Iran suffered a dramatic increase of HIV infection cases in the past decade, the nation is now beginning to strengthen its education about the illness.
Iran state TV reported, quoting Health Minister Hassan Ghzaizadeh, who said, the increase of HIV/AIDS patients has been about nine folds.

Estimates hint that there could about 100,000 people infected in Iran.

The number of registered HIV/AIDS infection cases is about 27,000. Source
