Kim Kardashian angers fans for taking 90 percent of proceeds from charity auction for the Philippines

Apparently, Kim Kardashian angered fans upon learning that she takes 90 percent of the auction she ran, purposely for the typhoon victims in the Philippines.
Reportedly, Kim set up an eBay auction in order to aid the victims of typhoon Yolanda in the Philippines. According to an online source, Kardashian wants to keep the 90 percent of the proceeds and the remaining 10 will be the portion to be forwarded to the disaster victims.

Some Twitter users even called the 10% share a measly contribution.
A Tweet asking if Kim is broke and why only 10 percent:
Kim Kardashian's 10 percent donation was also likened to "finding spiders in grapes".
Some called Kim a "Cheap Vile"
While netizens are angered and disappointed, some praised Kim Kardashian for her action:
People are getting stupid about Kim Kardashian's eBay auction. 10% of sales go to charity. Never look a gift horse in the mouth. Ingrates. Montaz Meah II
People are mad at Kim Kardashian for only donating 10% of her ebay profits to charity. If everybody with as much money as her did that... Adam Wilkins @AdamRWilkins

Kim Kardashian's eBay auction initiative was posted on, titled "My EBay Auction For The Philippines!" on Nov. 21, 2013.

This message is written in the said post:
Hi guys, this is a very special auction because a portion of the proceeds of my eBay auction are going to International Medical Corps, which is a nonprofit organization that provides critical health services on remote islands where families are struggling to access medical care and basic resources like food, clean drinking water and vital medications. The proceeds will go directly to the communities they’re serving in the Philippines and will help typhoon survivors get access to medical care and ultimately save lives. My prayers and thoughts are with those affected by the typhoon. Check out my eBay auction here and support those who need our help in the Philippines. Xo
What's your take on this? Are we to dictate someone how much to give as a donation? Should Kim be ashamed of her 10 percent proceeds donation?
