Texas student shot by campus police during traffic stop

Unarmed Texas honor student Robert Cameron Redus was shot by a campus police after a traffic stop due to the former's erratic driving at high speed near the campus.

Witness said, Redus was shot six (6) times.
There was boom, boom, boom, boom, boom -- six shots
On the other hand, the police said there was a struggle ensued during the apprehension.

The shots sustained by Robert Cameron Redus were fatal, as he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Up until the latest update, the reasons are still unclear why the struggle took place between Redus and the campus policeman.

Redus was recalled by his friends at the University of the Incarnate Word as sweet, kind and gentle person. He was not an aggressive person, Redus' friends added.

Further investigation is now underway, handled by the Alamo Heights Police Department.

The parents of Robert Cameron Redus are still feeling devastated by the tragic death of their son.
