Eurythmics on 'Ed Sullivan Show' for Beatles tribute

The duo comprising the British pop music group Eurythmics will be reuniting in Los Angeles this month for the 50th anniversary of The Beatles' appearance on the "Ed Sullivan Show".

Annie Lennox and musician Dave Stewart will play songs by The Beatles on the January 27 tribute concert.

Joining the Eurythmics in the pool of tribute performances are R&B singers Alicia Keys and John Legend, including pop rock group Maroon 5. It will be broadcast on CBS TV on Feb. 9, which falls on Sunday.

Other artists to perform are pop singer John Mayer and country singer Keith Urban.

Eurythmics had their first album release in 1981, separated in 1990 then reformed in 1999 to do another album. (Source)
