Japan food maker recalls millions of frozen goods tainted with pesticide

Japan tainted food news -- In a report made by Japanese public broadcaster NHK on Tuesday, about 400 people got sick after eating frozen foods that are suspected of being tainted with pesticide.

The frozen goods are traced to a food maker 'Maruha Nichiro Holdings'. Hence, the company began recalling its frozen products in Dec. 29, 2013.

As of the latest, Maruha already received about 1.1 million packages of the products under recall.

Last week, the company issued a formal apology and strong notes to the consumers not to eat the affected products.

A lot of food safety scandals have been happening in Asia lately. Beware of what you eat and always, keep your vigilance on high alert.
