Palestinian ambassador in Prague died due to accidental explosion

Palestinian ambassador to the Czech Republic Jamal Al Jamal succumbed to an untimely death due to an 'accidental explosion' in his home in Prague on Wednesday.

Czech Republic Foreign Ministry spokesman David Frous told NBC News, Jamal Al Jamal did not survive his injuries from the said explosion. The ambassador died at the hospital.

Czech officials are still unsure if the explosion was carried out as an attack.

However, Information gathered by Reuters say, the Foreign Minister has been trying to get access to a safe that was recently placed in his house.

Whereas, a Czech government source said, some safes are actually built with internal security mechanism; They can explode to destroy certain items or documents stored inside.
