Chris Tarrant stroke during flight from Thailand to London

Chris Tarrant stroke took place during his flight from Thailand to London, more than a week ago. It was a mild attack but he was rushed to a hospital from Heathrow Airport.

Chris Tarrant, the famous host of "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire" (UK) is already 67 years old; He fell ill during his recent 11-hours flight.

According to the doctors' initial findings, a potentially fatal blood clot was detected at Chris Tarrant's leg. An emergency operation was carried out before things could morph into something bigger - a major stroke.

The incident was confirmed by Tarrant's agent and manager Paul Vaughan:
They found a clot which they managed to break up.
It was a clot in the leg and that can immediately go to the brain or lungs.
The agent remarked that, what happened was actually a "nasty wake-up call" for Chris Tarrant. The TV personality is eager to go out of the hospital, but not be able to get back to work soon.
