Paris gives 3-day 'No Fare' for all public transportation

Paris region, including two other cities are set to implement a 3-day 'No Fare' or free travel when using public transportation modes, starting Friday through Sunday.

It is the city's move to address its alarming air pollution issues. A European Environment Agency said, nearly three-quarters of France is subject to the said environmental alert.

For those of you in Paris, you can use the subways, buses and trains from Friday, until Sunday. The free public transportation treat will also be observed in the cities of Caen and Rouen.

In addition, bike-shares and a 1-hour session for electric cars will also be free.
