Ebola virus outbreak in Guinea kills 59

The outbreak of the flesh-eating Ebola virus in Guinea killed at least 59 people already, according to the latest data published by the UNICEF.

Since, up to date, there has been no known cure, nor vaccine for Ebola virus, it is then a must to know the following basic symptoms:
  • internal and external bleeding
  • sudden fever
  • intense weakness
  • muscle pain
  • sore throat
  • vomiting; and
  • diarrhoea
Ebola virus can spread through personal contacts and is able to kill from 25 to 90 percent of those infected. In countries with poor medical programs, Ebola's outbreak can be very serious and fatal.

Health and medical officials of Guinea warned people against eating wild meats.

Residents were advised to practice frequent washing of the hands and reporting of any signs or symptoms of Ebola virus infection to proper authorities.
