Luna de Saturno: Scientists discover ocean inside Saturn moon

A group of scientists discovered an ocean inside the moon of planet Saturn, news announced on Thursday.

The research group is comprised by Italian and American researchers.

Through NASA's Cassini spacecraft and Deep Space Network, moon Enceladus was found. The new ocean discovered is like the Lake Superior connecting United States and Canada.

Initial information says, the water body:
harbors a large underground ocean of liquid water, furthering scientific interest in the moon as a potential home to extraterrestrial microbes.
Cassini mission's discovery in 'Luna de Saturno' or moon in Saturn speaks of the possibility that there could be some areas up there that are potential hosts for microbial life.

Said Linda Spilker, Cassini's project scientist at JPL:
Material from Enceladus’ south polar jets contains salty water and organic molecules, the basic chemical ingredients for life (Source)
