RIP Emilio Yap: Manila Bulletin chairman emeritus dies

Manila Bulletin chairman emeritus Emilio Yap died at the age of 88, as per news report published by ANC on Monday, April 7, 2014.

Yap is one of the pioneers of the Philippine print industry. He served as Chairman of the Board of the Manila Hotel Corporation and of Centro Escolar University.

Further details of the funeral service for Yap will be announced by his family soon.

The news did not elaborate on the cause of death of the chairman emeritus.

Emilo Yap was a Doctor of Law, conferred by the University of Sto. Tomas in 1996. He also had a Doctor of Philosophy in Communications Management, bestowed by De La Salle University-Manila.
