Magnitude 6.8 quake hits Mexico city.. rattled buildings, offices evacuated

A Reuters report on Thursday has Mexico capital hit by a Magnitude 6.8 quake, prompting evacuation.

Mexican state of Guerrero

The tremor's epicenter was in Mexican state of Guerrero, said U.S. Geological Survey.

The depth of the earthquake registered a 6.2 miles reading.

Buildings were rattled, while office spaces were evacuated as part of the calamity responses carried out by the affected residents of the State of Guerrero.

Sometime in August last year, Mexico suffered about 22 mudslides due to tropical depression, killing at least 13 people.
