Singing nun Cristina Scuccia wins The Voice Italy

The Voice Italy got a new artist in the person of a Catholic singing nun, Sister Cristina Scuccia.

Cristina Scuccia, first wowed The Voice Italy coaches with her rendition of Alicia Key's 'No One' in her blind audition. When the judges turned around to see who was singing, they were all dumbfounded - a singing Sicilian nun.

The Voice Italy with the fame of Sister (Suor) Cristina even got a following in the Vatican. A culture official Cardinal Gianfranco Ravasi was seen Tweeting a quote from a famous Roman thinker:
If we commit injustice, God will leave us without music.
However, Suor Cristina's rocket to fame brought media to take a look at her past. Her ex-boyfriend and Claudia Koll, a former director of the musical academy where she trained, were interviewed. Koll said, Cristina's journey brought out her artistic side fully.

After winning the top spot in The Voice Italy, Suor Cristina vowed to continue singing wherever the lord wants.
