MMDA releases list of flood prone areas, to note this rainy season #Neoguri #Florita

The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) released a list of flood prone areas in the Metropolitan for the motorists to avoid, dzBB reported on Tuesday.

The flood prone areas by city are listed below:


  • España-Antipolo-Maceda
  • P. Burgos-Manila City Hall vicinity

  • Osmeña-Skyway northbound
  • Don Bosco
  • Buendia-South Superhighway southbound
  • Buendia-South Superhighway northbound
  • Pasong Tamo Extension
Quezon City:

  • EDSA-North Avenue
Pasig City:

  • C-5-Bagong Ilog
Parañaque City:

  • West Service Road, Merville
The MMDA assured that flood control crews will be deployed in the field 24/7 to cater to any flooding related issues or problems to arise.

Meanwhile in Okinawa, Japan, a very powerful typhoon Neoguri hit the southern Japanese islands on Tuesday, disabling some major transport systems.

The weather condition is somehow affecting certain regions of the Philippines, hence the localized weather alert yesterday.
