Servando Hazing News: Charges filed against 20 suspects including 2 surrenderees

Servando Hazing News, Manila -- In clear violation of Republic Act 8049 or the Anti-Hazing Law, raps have been filed against the 20 suspects over the death of 18-year old Guillo Servando, including the two members of Tau Gamma Phi fraternity who surrendered earlier.

  3. Kurt Michael Almazan
  4. Luis Solomon Arevalo alias "Louie"
  5. Carl Francis Loresca
  6. Esmerson Nathaniel Calupas alias "Emeng"
  7. Hans Killian Tatlonghari alias "Hans Tamaring"
  8. Jomar Pajarito
  9. Eleazar Pablico III alias "Trex"
  10. John Kevin Navoa
  11. Vic Angelo Dy
  12. Mark Ramos
  13. Mike Castañeda
  14. Justin Francis Reyes alias "Rey Jay"
  15. Steve Jorge Peñano
  16. Ma. Teresa Dayanghirang
  17. Alyssa Federique Valbuena
  18. alias "Kiko"
  19. alias "Bea"
  20. one Jane Doe 
Also charged is Jomar Pajarito, the caretaker of the Makati residence where the initiation rites were conducted.

John Paul Raval and Lorenze Anthony Agustin, two other neophytes like Servando, will be presented to a court to serve as witnesses.

The father of the hazing victim, Aurelio is somewhat relieved, now that the investigation process is running at the hands of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) and Philippine National Police (PNP).
