Tau Gamma Phi issues official statement re fatal hazing of Guillo Cesar Servando

Tau Gamma Phi issued an official statement regarding the fatal incident due to a hazing rite, which led to the untimely death of La Salle-College of Saint Benilde student Guillo Cesar Servando.

In an official document released to media on Tuesday, Tau Gamma Phi expressed its deep regrets over what some of the members of the fraternity did in its ranks.
The Tau Gamma Phi is deeply troubled by news reports that some members of the fraternity have been involved in the fatal hazing of Guillo Cesar Servando, a student of La Salle-College of Saint Benilde
The fraternity cleared that it prohibits hazing.

Tau Gamma Phi does not condone violence and is now headed to conduct its own investigation to turn the responsible fraternity members to the authorities, the letter highlighted.

The fraternity vowed to fully cooperate with the investigating body of the government.

Earlier today, one of the fifteen hazing suspects turned himself in to the Manila Police District (MPD).
