Typhoon Glenda (RAMMASUN): Weather Updates as of 6PM, July 14, 2014

Typhoon Glenda (RAMMASUN) has been predicted to bring tropical cyclone to the Visayas region of the country, posing potential dangers to Bicol and Northern Samar, Weather.Com.Ph in its latest update.

Typhoon Glenda 2014 news -- Glenda is expected to make a landfall over Albay-Southern Camarines Sur on July 15 (Tue).

Historically, on July 14, 1983, another typhoon (Vera / Bebeng) with the same track and strength hit Bicol region.

Residents along the shorelines of Southern and Central Luzon and Northern Visayas are advised to keep a close monitoring of Bagyong Glenda (Typhoon Rammasun).

Glenda should be bringing rains of 50mm or more, plus tropical storm force winds of 65 kilometers per hour (kph), weather bureau PAGASA stated.
