Jollibee Chickenjoy News: Jollibee apologizes for limited menu, #ChickenSad

Jollibee Foods Corp (JFC) apologized to its customers for the limited products found in the food chain's menu in the past days, causing netizens to even bring their sentiments to social media networks.

JFC issued the following statement, as per quoted on Interaksyon.
[JFC] and its franchisee partners express their apology to their customers for the disappointment and inconvenience caused by not finding their favorite products in the stores or by seeing their nearby stores temporarily closed. The organization is doing its best to restore the availability of all its products to normal levels in the next few days, to reopen temporarily closed stores and to restore its excellent service to its customers
Jollibee added, it is to employ new 'enterprise platform', which involves the creation of 'central integrating system, store information systems and several other systems' in preparation for the company's robust growth in the Philippines and overseas.

The food giant's investment on the said project is driven by information technology upgrade, amounting to at least P500 million for the 2014 segment alone.

The limited products in most of the Jollibee branches in Metro Manila and nearby cities sent the food chain company to shutdown about 70 stores nationwide.
