Class suspensions for September 20, 2014 -- Classes are to remain suspended in some areas of Metro Manila and outlying provinces, Malacañang announced on Friday. Take a look at the listing below:

  • Parañaque City: all levels
  • Pasay City: all levels
  • Taguig City, all levels
Outside Metro Manila:

  • Antipolo City, all levels
  • Cavite Province, all levels
  • Laguna Province, all levels
  • Rizal Province, all levels

  • University of Santo Tomas
  • Far Eastern University, Makati and Manila campuses
  • University of the Philippines-Manila
  • University of the Philippines-Diliman
  • San Beda College, Manila and Rizal campuses
  • Polytechnic University of the Philippines, Metro Manila branches and campuses
  • Technological University of the Philippines, including graduate school
  • St. Jude Catholic School

Classes in UP-Diliman (UP-Diliman) - Based on the text message sent by UP System this evening, classes on Sept. 20 (Sat) in Diliman campus were declared suspended:

"Chancellor Michael Lim Tan: Because of the number of appeals from students adversely affected by Mario, especially in Quezon City, Marikina, Cainta and San Mateo, classes on all levels in UP Diliman remain suspended tomorrow (Saturday, September 20). "Since typhoon Mario has weaken, Saturday classes will resume tomorrow, 20 September. Thank you very much." (SMS recieved: Sept. 19 (Fri) 5:46 PM)
