Denzel Washington's "The Equalizer" hits box office with $35M debut

Denzel Washington's latest movie "The Equalizer" hit big in the box office by registering a debut of a whooping $35 million this weekend.

"The Equalizer", a rated R movie re-united Washington with  "Training Day" director Antoine Fuqua.

As IMDb termed it, the movie "..easily whacked last week's top film "The Maze Runner."

Washington's "Equalizer" is a complete package of action, crime, and thriller scores. It is written by  Richard Wenk and Michael Sloan.
