Google celebrates Leo Tolstoy's 186th birthday (Leo Tolstoy Doodle)

Google Doodle for today is a tribute to Russian writer, philosopher and political thinker Leo Tolstoy for his supposed 186th birthday.

Tolstoy (Count Lev Nikolayevich Tolstoy) was a novelist. He was born in September 9, 1828 in Yasnaya Polyana, Russia. He died at the age of 82 (Sept. 20, 1910).

Among the works of Tolstoy are "Anna Karenina", "War and Peace", and "The Kreutzer Sonata", among many others. His efforts in the field of plays include "The Power of Darkness", "The Living Corpse", and "The Fruits of Enlightenment".
