Blogger complains over Tokyo Tokyo's 'disappointing' Chicken Teriyaki and Beef Ramen

Looking for a restaurant to dine after running errands in the metro is supposed to be rewarding but things did not come as expected for couple bloggers Cristelle Torres and Rey Belen.

They were looking for one awesome ramen treat for themselves.

Originally, they thought of eating at a different restaurant, but since it ran out of noodles that night, and that they are quite hungry already, they chose to try Tokyo Tokyo, SM North EDSA branch instead.

First, they ordered Tokyo Tokyo's "Braised Beef Ramen".

The ramen tasted like plain water boiled with cow fat. Nothing more.

"BLAND" was the word.

"Super tabang! close to water na lasa ganun katabang! AS IN! Kung hindi lang kami gutom hindi namin kakainin eh!" Cristelle ranted on her Facebook account.

Disappointed as they maybe, they still managed to take a photo of the ramen bowl.

Rey then suggested Chicken Teriyaki. Little did they know that a rather worse thing is going to happen. And so they did order.

At first, the dish was kind of raw. The color was still pinkish, Cristelle related.
..then dumating yung order ko na.chicken. pagslice ko ng spoon medyo pinkish pa so i.returned.it para ipaluto pa. then ang tagal pa nga bago nabalik. need pa ifollow up.
When the Teriyaki was brought back, the couple was even more surprised. The dish looked like this - a perfect CARCINOGEN deal:

Cristelle and Rey did not want to spoil their dinner so they went on with their meal.

"wala na.ko.sa mood magreklamo eh. kaya pinagtyagaan ko na lang. ayoko na stressin sarili ko. alam mo yun kahit hindi ako magreklamo pero looking sa quality ng food na sinerve.nila sakin kagabi sila na mismo dapat naginitiate na palitan ng maayos nung nakitang sunog na sunog. hazardous sa health un eh.", Cristelle remarked.
..kaya pinili ko na lang.. yung sunog inalis ko
This is definitely a case of basic customer handling and food quality assurance. Tokyo Tokyo should have dealt with it properly. The fact that they saw what happened to that poor chicken teriyaki after re-heating, they should have contemplated well if it should be served back or not.
