Former Chiefs quarterback Tyler Thigpen arrested for sleeping in Wendy’s drive-thru

Ex-Chiefs quarterback (QB) Tyler Thigpen was arrested on Sunday after having been found sleeping in a Wendy's drive-thru.

The incident happened in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Thigpen was under the influence of alcohol, source said.

As per police reports, Tyler was found asleep behind the wheel of his SUV; He hadn't move for 20 minutes or so. The police officers took several minutes to have the football player wake up.

He "smelled strongly of alcohol and didn’t know where he was or how he got there.", reported.

Albeit smelling drunk, Thigpen said he had not been drinking lately. He refused to take breath analysis test.

After paying a $1,000 bond, Thigpen was released right after.
