Nov. 23, 2014 -- NYtimes reported that Ms. Ghavami has already been granted by the Iranian government to bail and that, she was released on Sunday, the British Foreign Office confirmed. She had to pay $30,000.

Ms. Ghavami is a London law school graduate. She's only been in for Iran for four months.

"Based on the verdict handed down by the court, she was sentenced to one year imprisonment and banned for two years to leave the country", Ghoncheh's mother Susan Moshtaghian said.

There are doubts roaming around that charges against Ms. Ghavami's have been quite unclear. Some say, she has been caught having contacts with Iran's opposition groups. Other rumors say, she has been "spreading propaganda against Iran’s political system".

Ms. Ghavami's case attracted international attention.
