Gigantic whale in southern Nicaragua found stranded on a beach

A massive whale was found  stranded at the shore of a southern Nicaragua beach, on Friday, News Straits Times reported.

According to information given by the Environment Ministry's delegate in the region, the whale measured 18 meters (59 feet) in length.

In an effort to get the whale back into the deeper portion of the water, more than 50 beach goers worked hand in hand. They gave up the effort after spending about a day exhausted.

The big whale was spotted at the Popoyo beach, in the town of Tola.

Police and environment officials said, the whale maybe a humpback.
