Mom faces jail time and fine for saving son's life

A Minnesota mom is expected to face a possible two years of imprisonment and a $6,000 fine after successfully saving his son's life.

Angela Brown

Angela Brown used cannabis oil to treat his son who suffered from serious seizures due to a brain injury brought about a baseball accident. His son Trey was hit in the head with a baseball bat.

Angela resorted to the use of the oil, albeit illegal, after doctors failed to treat his son under critical health condition.

Shortly after, the authorities learned about what Angela did. She was then arrested and charged with two counts of gross misdemeanor.

Angela tried to reason out, nonetheless.
We chose to treat him with medicinal cannabis oil, which saved his life, after all doctors failed him
"I broke the law, but I did it to save my son…..We are good hard working people that were just trying to save our son’s life. It has been a living hell since his injury and this just adds to our ever growing stress.", Angela added.

Interestingly, Minnesota is one of the many states in America to approve of the medical use of marijuana. The sad thing is, it will take effect in July 2015.
