Toshiba to release world's first NFC-enabled SDHC memory card

Mark February 21, 2015! Toshiba is said to release the world's first (Near Field Communication) NFC-enabled SDHC memory card under three models denomination - 8, 16, and 32 GB.

8GB model (SD-NFC08GA) - about ¥2,000 (P750)
16GB model (SD-NFC16GA) - about ¥3,000 (P1,200)
32GB model (SD-NFC32GA) - about ¥6,000~¥7,000 (P2,200 to 2600)

The new cards have been featured during the 2015 International CES, in Las Vegas, U.S.A.

How does NFC-enabled card work?  Simply hold it over an NFC-compliant Android smartphone, with the app “Memory Card Preview” installed and VoilĂ !, you can view the saved data with the matching thumbnails (16 max).

Absolutely, there will be no need to insert the card into a device to have a preview of your saved data.
