Just recently, transgender fashion designer Veejay Floresca was supposed to attend a birthday party at "Valkyrie, The Palace", a "nightlife complex" at The Fort in Taguig city, Metro Manila Philippines.

Floresca was not allowed to enter due to the club's standing "no crossdressers policy".

Floresca even showed her California ID with her female name and gender indicated; She was told "Lalaki pa din yan (That’s still a man)."

Addressing the club board members Tim Yap and Neil Arce, transgender model Geena Rocero said in her Facebook status on Sunday, "The Trans Community is ANGRY because of the way you treat US."

"You Acknowledged that this Problematic "No CrossDresser Policy" being enforced on TransWomen/Gender Non Conforming People as URGENT but you don't ACT on it. This Bullshit has to STOP NOW", Rocero added.

The LGBT community in the Philippines and Valkyrie, The Palace, BGC Owners and Board members were scheduled to meet on June 20 but it was moved to June 29, as per Rocero's update on June 19 (Fri).
