As per information released by the media, the said controversial tape was shot in the changing room of Uniqlo.

It was pulled off by at least five people, including two as the main actors doing the intimate act.

The couple are now in the hands of the police. They were taken into custody for investigation, just a few hours after the scandal's footage went viral on the Internet.

The said Uniqlo scandal video clip will be investigated in two parts: 1)  identify who initially distributed it online and 2) whether it is just a business hype created by Uniqlo itself, Beijing TV report mentioned.

The mere distribution of such adult material goes "against socialist core values", China’s online regulator the Cyberspace Administration of China (CAC) said Wednesday.

The CAC called on Weibo and WeChat's utmost cooperation in the on-going investigation.

Meanwhile, the public somewhat went on to ridicule the scandalous footage; Some took photos outside the clothes establishment mimicking the poses seen in the video.
