Following the incident, the provincial government of Bohol has ordered random drug testing of its employees, GMA News reported.

The drug material is now within the hands of the provincial police's crime laboratory for analysis.

Police are still searching for the owner of the said drugs.

Bohol is on high alert for illegal drugs. It has been doing rounds of related campaigns recently.

Sometime last month, the Municipal Anti-Illegal Drugs Special Operations Task Group  (MAIDSOTG ) of Tubigon town carried out a raid, wherein it was able to confiscate illegal drug items from certain individuals. The group also nabbed two persons in the house where the drugs were found.

In August last year, four drug lords were killed, while one got jailed resulting from a crackdown done by the Philippine National Police (PNP) based at Camp Dagohoy.
